''Reideen'' (stylized as ''REIDEEN'') is a Japanese animated television series remake of the 1975 Super Robot anime ''Brave Raideen''. It was produced by Production I.G and directed by Mitsuru Hongo. Which was originally broadcast on the satellite network Wowow in 2007. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime for North American release. The anime series has a two-volume manga counterpart, running in Kadokawa Shoten's '' Monthly Shōnen Ace from November 25, 2006 to July 26, 2007. Brave Raideen
is a super robot anime series. Produced by Tohokushinsha, Asahi News Agency and Bandai Namco Filmworks, Soeisha (later renamed as Sunrise), it aired on TV Asahi, Nihon Educational Television (now TV Asahi) from 4 April 1975 to 26 March 1976, with a total of 50 episodes. Mitsuru Hongo
is a Japanese anime director of television and film. Hongo originally worked at Ajiado as an animator but moved to Shin-Ei Animation where he directed '' Crayon Shin-chan''.
