Rehguzar
Rehguzar is a 1985 Indian direct-to-video film directed by Jyoti Sarup starring the Shekhar Suman, Simple Kapadia, Bharat Bhushan and Jyoti Sarup himself. The film was first released for video in 1985, it was later telecasted on Doordarshan in 1989. This film had the music of Sardar Anjum, this is the only film for which he ever gave music. Plot A small town, aspiring, lyricist Shekhar goes to Bombay to make it big. He stays in the city on rent in a house, which is owned by a person from his town. The daughter of his landlord, Simple falls in love with him and he reciprocates the feelings too. Meanwhile he meets the secretary of a famous lyricist in the business. The secretary buys his lyrics and passes it on to his boss who records the songs, which become hits. Frustrated by ghost-writing for others he searches ways to get famous himself. Simple Kapadia
Simple Kapadia (15 August 1958 – 10 November 2009) was a Hindi film actress and costume designer, who was active in her professional career from 1987 until her death in 2009. Early and personal life Simple was born on 15 August 1958 to parents Chunnibhai and Betty Kapadia. She was raised alongside 3 siblings - elder sister Dimple Kapadia, younger sister Reem Kapadia (who died of drug overuse) and Suhail (Munna) Kapadia. She had a son Karan Kapadia with Rajinder Singh Shetty and was the aunt of Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna. Jyoti Sarup (born 20 August 1954 in New Delhi) is a National Award winning Indian film/serial director and producer, most known for directing the television series, ''Buniyaad'', and films like ''Chorni'' (1982) and '' Bub''(2001) . Biography An engineer from Govt Engineering College Ujjain, by education, he received a Diploma from NSD and FTII for Acting. He came to Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1978 to become an actor. Not belonging to a film background, he had to start from scratch. He started off as a Chief Assistant Director to Late Mr. Ramanand Sagar. Shekhar Suman (born 7 December 1962) is an Indian actor, anchor, producer, director, and singer. Personal life Shekhar Suman married Alka Suman on 4 May 1983, and has a son Adhyayan Suman, a Bollywood film actor. An older son, Aayush, died of a heart ailment at age 11.
