Regions Field is the name of a minor league baseball Baseball park, park in the Southside (Birmingham), Southside community of Birmingham, Alabama, U.S. It is the home field for the Birmingham Barons of the Southern League (1964–present), Southern League, and replaced Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover, Alabama, Hoover as their home field. It also serves as the second home field along with Jerry D. Young Memorial Field for the UAB Blazers baseball, UAB Blazers. Regions Field is located adjacent to the Railroad Park, just south of downtown Birmingham. Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, also known as The Hoover Met, is a former minor league baseball stadium located in Hoover, Alabama, United States, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, Birmingham. Railroad Park is a 19-acre park in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, that opened in the fall of 2010. It was designed by landscape architect Tom Leader and built by Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie. The Charlotte Knights are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and play their home games at Truist Field, which opened in 2014 and is located in Uptown Charlotte.
