Treaty Three Police Service
The Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) in Ontario began as the Treaty #3 Policing Initiative in August 1999 as directed by the Executive Council of Grand Council of Treaty 3. It officially began operation on August 5, 2003, and became Canada's newest First Nation self-administered police service. Members of Treaty Three Police are appointed as First Nations Constables by the Commissioner of the OPP pursuant to s.54 of the Police Services Act. They have the powers of a police officer for the purpose of carrying out duties specified in their appointments and under federal law have the powers and protections of peace officers. Stratford is a city on the Avon River within Perth County in southwestern Ontario, Canada, with a 2016 population of 31,465 in a land area of . South Simcoe Police Service
South Simcoe Police Service is a municipal police force in Ontario, Canada, providing service to the municipalities of Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury. It came into existence on January 1, 1997, through the amalgamation of the Innisfil Police Service and Bradford West Gwillimbury Police Service. The neighbouring Barrie Police Service was part of the initial proposal but did not participate in the amalgamation. The chief of police from 1997 to 2011 was Bruce J Davis. On April 16, 2012, Rick Beazley was appointed chief; he had been the chief of the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service. The current chief is Andrew Fletcher who joined the service in 2015. The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) provides policing services for the Regional Municipality of Niagara in the Canadian province of Ontario. The NRPS was established on January 1, 1971, and is the oldest regional police service in Ontario. Its headquarters is located in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
