Reggie Holmes
Reggie Holmes (born August 8, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Kymis of the Greek Basket League. A shooting guard, he is best known for his college career, where he was an All-American and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year at Morgan State University. College career Holmes came to Morgan State from Southern High School and St. Frances Academy, both in Baltimore, Maryland. He played there from 2006 to 2010, leaving as the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,049 points. As a junior, Holmes scored 20 points in the 2009 MEAC men's basketball tournament MEAC tournament final and was named tournament Most Valuable Player, leading the Bears to their first Division I NCAA tournament appearance. As a senior, Holmes again helped the Bears to a MEAC championship and an NCAA tournament bid. 2018–19 FIBA Africa Basketball League
The 2019 FIBA Africa Basketball League was the 33nd edition of FIBA Africa's premier club Basketball tournament and the 1st under the new format and new name. The season saw an expansion from twelve to sixteen teams. The season began on February 8, 2019, and ended on May 26, 2019, with the conclusion of the Final Four. The Final Four was hosted at the Kilamba Arena in Luanda, Angola. It was the last season of the league as the competition was replaced by the Basketball Africa League (BAL), a new competition jointly established by the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece.
