Habibollah Bitaraf
Habibolah Bitaraf ( fa, حبیب‌الله بی‌طرف) is an Iranian reformist politician. He was Energy Minister for 8 years during Mohammad Khatami presidency. He also served as provincial governor of Yazd. He was nominated as the energy minister by President Hassan Rouhani on 8 August 2017 but he was the only nominee who did not gain a vote of confidence from the parliament on 20 August 2017, with 133 yeas, 132 nays, 17 abstentions and 6 invalid votes. Ahmad Masjed-Jamei
Ahmad Masjed-Jamei ( fa, احمد مسجدجامعی) is an Iranian reformist politician and academic who was chairman of City Council of Tehran from 3 September 2013 until 3 September 2014. He served as Culture Minister under President Mohammad Khatami from 2000 to 2005. He was elected a Tehran City Councillor in 2006 and was reelected in 2013. Career Culture Minister Jamei became culture minister when Khatami's first minister, Ata'ollah Mohajerani, was forced to resign following criticism by conservatives for "eroding moral standards". Jamei previously served as deputy culture minister. As culture minister he promoted freedom of the press, saying it helps to prevent the accumulation of "negative anxieties" in society. Reformists Coalition (2013)
The Reformists Coalition ( fa, ائتلاف اصلاح‌طلبان) was the main electoral alliance of reformists for the 2013 municipal election of Tehran. Most reformist figures were disqualified for the elections, including the incumbent councillor Masoumeh Ebtekar, Mohsen Hashemi Rafsanjani and Mahmoud Alizadeh-Tabatabaei among others. Some were dropped off the list, most notably the former councillor Ebrahim Asgharzadeh Ebrahim Asgharzadeh ( fa, ابراهیم اصغرزاده) is an Iranian political activist and politician. 2006 Iranian Local Elections
The Iranian City and Village Councils election of 2006 took place on December 15, 2006. People elected representatives for City and Village Councils, who in their turn elected the mayors. The elections happened on the same day as the election for the Assembly of Experts. Candidates Every city and village in the country elected representatives. Iran's 46.5 million eligible voters elected about 233,000 candidates for more than 113,000 city and rural council posts. Hadi Saei ( fa, هادی ساعی, born June 10, 1976) is an Iranian councilor and former taekwondo athlete who became the most successful Iranian athlete in Olympic history and the most titled champion in this sport by winning 9 world class titles (three olympic titles in 2000 and 2004 and 2008, two world championships titles, four world cup titles and one world olympic qualification tournament).
