Reen Nalli
Reen Nalli (born February 8, 1951) is an American music executive. She is the current president of A&R Consultants. She has worked with the likes of INXS, Blue October, and India.Arie. Early life and career Reen Nalli was born in Detroit, Michigan, United States, and attended Belleville High School. Her family owned and operated a music store called Al Nalli Music in Ann Arbor where she worked after school. She attended Eastern Michigan University but never graduated. Career at Big Tree Records In 1971 Nalli traveled to New York to learn the record business after her brother, Al Nalli signed Brownsville Station (band) to Big Tree Records. This is where she met Dick Webber who would introduce her to Doug Morris who became one of Nalli's mentors. Atlantic Recording Corporation (simply known as Atlantic Records) is an American record label founded in October 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson. Over its first 20 years of operation, Atlantic earned a reputation as one of the most important American labels, specializing in jazz, R&B, and soul by Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Ruth Brown and Otis Redding. "Never Tear Us Apart" is a single released by Australian rock group INXS in August 1988. It was included on the band's sixth studio album, '' Kick''. INXS version The music was written by keyboardist Andrew Farriss, who recorded a blues-style demo; vocalist Michael Hutchence wrote the lyrics. "Never Tear Us Apart" is a ballad, written in the tempo of a modern Viennese waltz, layered with synthesizers and containing dramatic pauses before the instrumental breaks. Kirk Pengilly lends a saxophone solo near the end. Luis Edgardo Resto (born July 22, 1961) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and keyboardist who has worked closely with rapper Eminem since his third major-label album ''The Eminem Show''. Joseph Robert Robinson (born 25 May 1991), is an Australian guitar player and vocalist. A largely self-taught musician from Temagog, NSW, he is best known for his virtuoso guitar abilities and for winning the 2008 season of Australia's Got Talent.
