Amanda Redington
Amanda Redington (born January 1962) is a British presenter and actress. She has been a presenter for cable and satellite TV channels such as Music Box and Sky Channel, during the mid and late 1980s, on GMTV in 1993 and on ''The Warehouse'' on Anglia TV. Redington was a member of the music trio called K-Ram (their only hit was ''Menage à trois'' in 1984) and she took part in The Rap Pack. She married Dutch singer Frank Boeijen in 1990, they divorced in 1994. She has acted on the stage in ''Wife Begins at 40'', playing Linda Harper; in ''Bedside Manners'' as Sally; in ''Snow White'' as the Wicked Queen; and in ''Jack and the Beanstalk'' as the fairy. Redington played the title role in ''Peter Pan'' at the Lewisham Theatre; she also played Jack in ''Jack and the Beanstalk''; and she played Sandy in '' Grease'' at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Mount Redington
Mount Redington is a mountain located in Franklin County, Maine. Redington is flanked to the northeast by South Crocker Mountain and to the west by Black Nubble. Redington stands just northeast of the U.S. Navy Survival Escape and Evasion Training Facility (USSEAETF). The southeast side of Redington drains into the South Branch of the Carrabassett River, then into the Kennebec River, and into the Gulf of Maine. The northwest side of Redington drains into Nash Stream, then into the South Branch of the Dead River, Flagstaff Lake, the Dead River and the Kennebec. The Appalachian Trail (AT), a National Scenic Trail from Georgia to Maine, is routed around Mt. Redington, to instead pass near the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain () — the second highest peak in the state of Maine. The AT runs from Saddleback Junior to the southwest, over Spaulding Mountain and Sugarloaf to the east, and passes about a mile northeast of Redington, at the summit of South Crocker. Redington Pass
Redington Pass (el. 1310 m./4300 ft.) is a high mountain pass between the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Rincons in northeast Pima County, Arizona. It is located just east of Tucson. Historically, it was the connection between the farming and ranching areas of Redington along the San Pedro River on the east side of the pass and Tucson on the west side. The road through Redington Pass is unpaved and the area throughout the pass is a favorite of mountain bikers and all-terrain vehicle riders. The area was also frequented by firearms enthusiasts, as the region contained three unofficial shooting range areas. As of 2013 these unofficial shooting ranges have been shut down by federal officials due to litter and noise pollution. Redington Museum
The Redington Museum or Redington House is a historic house and museum in Waterville, Maine that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is the headquarters of the Waterville Historical Society. Built in 1814, it is one of the best-preserved houses of the period in the city. It has served since 1924 as the museum and headquarters of the Waterville Historical Society, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The museum is listed on the official website of the Maine Office of Tourism. Location The museum is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day from Tuesday to Saturday. Visitors are supposed to enter during the tour times, which are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. In practice, they may allow admission other times.
