Redfield is a historic home located near Oak Level, Halifax County, Virginia. It was built in 1855–1857, and is a two-story, four-bay, central hall plan, hipped roofed brick dwelling in the Classical Villa style. The main block is flanked by one-story brick wings. Oak Level is a census-designated place (CDP) in Henry County, Virginia, United States. The population was 857 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Martinsville Micropolitan Statistical Area. History Redfield was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Geography Oak Level is located at (36.797437, −79.939578). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.1 square miles (15.8 km2), all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 885 people, 415 households, and 278 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 145.4 people per square mile (56.1/km2).
