Redemption Days
"Redemption Days" is a song by singer-songwriter Josh Osho. It was released as the first single from his debut studio album, ''L.I.F.E'', on 4 September 2011. The single version features Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah. The album version features only vocals by Osho himself. The single has so far peaked at number 89 on the UK Singles Chart. The song includes a sample from " Lucky Man" by The Verve. Background After signing to Island Records in mid-2011, Osho released "Redemption Days" as his debut single. In May 2012, "Redemption Days" become noticed by mainstream media after Osho performed the track on '' Later... with Jools Holland''. The track became Record of the Week on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 1Xtra as well as being added to the B List of all three major stations. Josh Osho
Josh Osho is an English singer-songwriter from South London, who was previously signed to Island Records. Early life Osho was brought up in South London by his parents Nigerian born father and Irish Nigerian mother. He attended Graveney School in Tooting, South London where he found himself good at English as well as being a keen footballer. He began writing songs from an early age, when one of his mother's friends threw out a guitar, which he then started to learn. Osho was brought up religiously, accompanying his mother to church twice a week. Music career Osho was soon brought to the attention of Island Records and signed in mid-2011. Osho's first single "Redemption Days" was released on 4 September 2011 and featured Ghostface Killah. In December 2011, Osho performed an acoustic cover of Adele's " Someone like You" for SB.TV. ''The Voice of Ireland'' is the Irish edition of the international TV franchise ''The Voice'', a reality singing competition created by media tycoon John de Mol. ''The Voice of Ireland'' is an Irish reality talent show. The fourth series of the programme premiered on 4 January 2015 on RTÉ One and concluded on 26 April, similar to previous seasons. Kathryn Thomas returned as main host, while her colleague Eoghan McDermott remained the show's co-host.
