''Redding News Review'' was a Sirius XM radio show that developed into a subscriber-supported podcast. It focuses on Black news and was founded by Rob Redding. Production Rob Redding founded ''Redding News Review'' to compete with mainstream news organizations and cover under-reported issues. ''Redding News Review'' was hosted on Sirius XM between 2012 and 2013 and later became a podcast. Content A 2013 interview with Stromae explored the extent of racism in Belgium. The show has a regular feature called ''Talking Tough with Curry'' featuring discussions with Tommy J. Curry. A 2012 episode resulted in Curry receiving death threats after Curry's jokes about violence against white people were taken out of context and shared online by journalist Rod Dreher. Rob Redding
Robert "Rob" Redding Jr. is an American podcaster, journalist, author and artist. From 2012 to 2013, he hosted the weekday syndicated ''Redding News Review'' on Sirius XM. Personal life and education Redding's father was a preacher. His mother was a teacher in the Atlanta Public Schools. He was raised in the Atlanta area and attended the University of Louisiana where majored in speech communication. He graduated with a master's degree in communication from Marshall University in Huntington. He graduated with Master's in Fine Art in painting and drawing in 2022 from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He is based in Brooklyn and is queer. Journalism and teaching Redding has taught communications at Pace University and New York City College of Technology. An online newspaper (or electronic news or electronic news publication) is the online version of a newspaper, either as a stand-alone publication or as the online version of a printed periodical. Paul van Haver (; born 12 March 1985), better known by his stage name Stromae (), is a Belgian singer, rapper, songwriter and producer. Troy Davis
Troy Anthony Davis (October 9, 1968 – September 21, 2011) was a man convicted of and executed for the August 19, 1989 murder of police officer Mark MacPhail in Savannah, Georgia. MacPhail was working as a security guard at a Burger King restaurant and was intervening to defend a man being assaulted in a nearby parking lot when he was murdered. During Davis's 1991 trial, seven witnesses testified they had seen Davis shoot MacPhail, and two others testified Davis had confessed the murder to them. There were 34 witnesses who testified for the prosecution, and six others for the defense, including Davis. Although the murder weapon was not recovered, ballistic evidence presented at trial linked bullets recovered at or near the scene to those at another shooting in which Davis was also charged.
