John Thaw
John Edward Thaw, (3 January 1942 – 21 February 2002) was an English actor who appeared in a range of television, stage, and cinema roles. He starred in the television series '' Inspector Morse'' as title character Detective Chief Inspector Endeavour Morse, '' Redcap'' as Sergeant John Mann, ''The Sweeney'' as Detective Inspector Jack Regan, '' Home to Roost'' as Henry Willows, and ''Kavanagh QC'' as title character James Kavanagh. The Adjutant General's Corps is a corps in the British Army responsible for many of its general administrative services, named for the Adjutant-General to the Forces (now the Commander Home Command). Richard Harris (born 1934) is a British television writer, most active from the early 1960s to the mid-1990s. He writes primarily for the crime and detective genres, having contributed episodes of series such as '' The Avengers'', '' The Saint'', ''The Sweeney'', ''Armchair Mystery Theatre'', and ''Target''. He has helped to create several programmes of the genre, including '' Adam Adamant Lives!'', ''Man in a Suitcase'', and ''Shoestring''. Robert Holles
Robert Holles (1926–1999), was a British author and TV and film screenwriter. Holles was the son of a sergeant major, and enlisted in the British Army as a boy soldier at 14. He served in Korea as an armourer (information taken from the book by Robert Holles 'Captain Cat') sergeant with the 1st battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment, and saw action during the Battle of Imjin in 1951, one of "The Glorious Glosters" greatest battle honours. Holles became an author often writing on military life but not limited to this alone.
