Red Sea Project
The Red Sea Project is a land and property megaproject currently in development in Saudi Arabia that is managed by Red Sea Global and forms part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program. The project was announced by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in July 2017, focusing on luxury and ecotourism to attract visitors to the Red Sea coast. The project is expected to increase the Saudi GDP by $5.86 billion per year upon completion, when it will cover of islands, beaches, desert, mountains and volcanic areas. The first phase is expected to be completed in 2022, when 3,000 hotel rooms will be constructed with the Red Sea International Airport, marina, and recreation centers. John Pagano (born March 30, 1967) is an American football coach who is a senior defensive assistant for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Neom
Neom (styled NEOM; ''Neom,'' ) is a city being built in Tabuk Province in northwestern Saudi Arabia. It is planned to incorporate smart city technologies and function as a tourist destination. The site is north of the Red Sea, east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba, and south of Jordan. It is planned to cover a total area of , extending 170 kilometres along the coast of the Red Sea. Saudi Arabia aimed to complete major parts of the project by 2020, with an expansion completed in 2025, but it is behind schedule. The project has an estimated cost of $500 billion. Al Wajh
Al Wajh ( ar, الوجه), also written Al Wejh, is a coastal city in north-western Saudi Arabia, situated on the coast of the Red Sea. The city is located in the Tabuk Province. It is one of the largest cities in Tabuk region, with a population of 50,000 as of 2013. Al Wajh played a pivotal role during the Arab Revolt in World War I. A megaproject is an extremely large-scale investment project. Red Sea International Airport ( ar, مطار البحر الأحمر الدولي) is an international airport in Hanak, Tabuk in northwestern Saudi Arabia serving the sustainable tourism megaproject in development called the Red Sea Project. Designed by British architects Foster + Partners, the airport began operations on September 21, 2023, and is expected to service one million passengers in 2030.
