An independent record label (or indie label) is a record label that operates without the funding or distribution of major record labels; they are a type of small- to medium-sized enterprise, or SME. The labels and artists are often represented by trade associations in their country or region, which in turn are represented by the international trade body, the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN). ''Italian Spiderman'' (intentionally spelled without the hyphen present in Spider-Man) is an Australian short film parody of Italian action–adventure films of the 1960s and 1970s, first released on YouTube in 2007. The parody purports to be a "lost Italian film" by Alrugo Entertainment, an Australian film-making collective formed by Dario Russo, Tait Wilson, David Ashby, Will Spartalis and Boris Repasky. Ostensibly an Italian take on the comic book superhero Spider-Man, the film is a reference to foreign movies that misappropriate popular American superheroes such as the Turkish film '' 3 Dev Adam'', and licensed series such as the Japanese TV series '' Spider-Man'', both of which alter the character of Spider-Man for foreign audiences. A B movie or B film is a low-budget commercial motion picture. In its original usage, during the Golden Age of Hollywood, the term more precisely identified films intended for distribution as the less-publicized bottom half of a double feature (akin to B-sides for recorded music). With the emergence of commercial television at that time, film studio B movie production departments changed into television film production divisions. Soulshaker (also known as Soul Shakers) is a dance, club, and pop music production team based in the United Kingdom. In addition to creating their own productions, they write, produce, mix, and remix tracks for a number of major and independent labels in the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America. Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters
Giuliano Palma and the Bluebeaters are a rising cover band in Italy and perform a mix of reggae, ska and rocksteady. Formed in 1994, the Bluebeaters comprises musicians of the Italian groups Casino Royale (Giuliano Palma, Ferdinando Masi, Patrick Benifei), of Africa Unite (Bunna, Paolo Parpaglione, Cato Senatore) and of the Fratelli di Soledad (Zorro). At the end of 2012 singer Giuliano Palma left the band to pursue his solo career. In September 2013 original band members (with Pat Cosmo on vocals) reunited as The Bluebeaters for a concert in Turin, Italy. Next December they did the first tour in years, ReTOURn, celebrating the band's comeback. In June 2014 The Bluebeaters released their comeback single "Toxic/Catch That Teardrop" on Record Kicks. A tour celebrating their 20th anniversary followed, with the band appearing in Italy as well as in European festivals.
