Rebis
The Rebis (from the Latin ''res bina'', meaning dual or double matter) is the end product of the alchemical ''magnum opus'' or great work. After one has gone through the stages of putrefaction and purification, separating opposing qualities, those qualities are united once more in what is sometimes described as the divine hermaphrodite, a reconciliation of spirit and matter, a being of both male and female qualities as indicated by the male and female head within a single body. The sun and moon correspond to the male and female halves, just as the Red King and White Queen are similarly associated. The ''Rebis'' image appeared in the work ''Azoth of the Philosophers'' by Basil Valentine in 1613. Negative Man is a superhero from DC Comics. The character was created by Bob Haney, Arnold Drake, and Bruno Premiani and made his first appearance in ''My Greatest Adventure'' #80 (June 1963). ''Castlevania'' is an American adult animated dark fantasy action horror television series made for the streaming service Netflix and is produced by Frederator Studios' Kevin Kolde and Fred Seibert. Doom Patrol is a superhero team from DC Comics. The original Doom Patrol first appeared in ''My Greatest Adventure'' #80 (June 1963), and was created by writers Arnold Drake and Bob Haney, along with artist Bruno Premiani. Doom Patrol has appeared in different incarnations in multiple comics, and have been adapted to other media. Although not one of the most popular superhero teams, they have never been out of print for more than a few years since their introduction.
