''Rebel Soul'' is the ninth studio album by American musician Kid Rock and his final to be released with Atlantic Records. The album was released on November 19, 2012. The album was self-produced by Kid Rock himself. It is his first since 2007's ''Rock N Roll Jesus'' to feature his backing band Twisted Brown Trucker after being absent on 2010's ''Born Free''. "Redneck Paradise" was written by The Young Brothers in 2007; they sent it to Kid Rock's representatives hoping he would use the song. The album was described as a mixture of Southern rock, soul, blues, gospel and Motown Sound. It has sold 592,000 copies in the US as of February 2015. During NASCAR's 2012 Race to the Chase, Kid Rock introduced the last 10 races with an array of songs of the album including "Let's Ride", the title track, "The Mirror", "Celebrate" and "Mr. Rock N Roll". ''Rock n Roll Jesus'' is the seventh studio album by Kid Rock, released on October 9, 2007. Rob Cavallo co-produced the album with Rock. The album was not available at the iTunes Store in an act of protest by Kid Rock regarding a royalties dispute. It was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and Best Male Vocal Performance for "All Summer Long" at the 2009 Grammy Awards. "All Summer Long" from the album was named the official theme song for WWE Backlash 2008 as well as "So Hott" for WrestleMania XXV and "New Orleans" for WrestleMania 34. Musical style The album features the vocals of golfer John Daly on "Half Your Age" and the rock hit " All Summer Long" which has brought the album to triple platinum status in the U.S. and in Canada. Dan Dugmore is an American session musician known primarily for playing the pedal steel guitar Born in 1949, Dugmore was raised in Pasadena, California. Influenced by the Flying Burrito Brothers, he learned to play steel guitar after Flying Burrito Brothers member Sneaky Pete Kleinow sold him one. Dugmore then joined John Stewart's road band, and then Linda Ronstadt's; he also played for several James Taylor albums. Paul Franklin (musician)
Paul V. Franklin (born May 31, 1954) is an American multi-instrumentalist, known mainly for his work as a steel guitarist. He began his career in the 1970s as a member of Barbara Mandrell's road band; in addition he toured with Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, Jerry Reed and Dire Straits. He has since become a prolific session musician in Nashville, playing on more than 500 albums. He has been named by the Academy of Country Music as Best Steel Guitarist on several occasions. Jimmie "Bones" Trombly
Jimmie Bones (born James Trombly) is the organ/piano/keyboard/harmonica player in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. The two met while Kid Rock was recording " Early Mornin Stoned Pimp" at Detroit's White Room Studio in 1995. Rock asked Bones to do some piano tracks while Bones was working as a member of Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise in the adjacent room to Rock. Rock and Bradley also shared a rehearsal space and Bones would show up early for his rehearsal and sit in on the last bit of Rock's rehearsal. Rock suggested to Bones that he should do some live performances with him and the forming Twisted Brown Trucker Band when not touring with Bradley and Bones agreed, eventually becoming Rock's full-time keyboardist.
