Rebecca Guay
Rebecca Guay is an artist known early in her career as an illustrator, commissioned for work on role-playing games, collectible card games, comic books, as well as work on children's literature. Guay subsequently turned primarily toward gallery work, opening her first solo exhibition in 2013 at the R.Michelson Gallery. Early life Guay received a degree in Illustration from the Pratt Institute in New York City in 1992. Career Early career After graduation, Guay became an illustrator at Marvel (''2099 Unlimited'') and landed numerous gigs at DC Comics and its Vertigo Imprint, like becoming the full-time penciller for '' Black Orchid'' and various work with Neil Gaiman's ''Sandman'' universe. The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. It was first held in 2006. MTV Animation is the animation department of the television network MTV. History In 1991, MTV debuted its first full-length animated series, ''Liquid Television'', which helped launch ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' and ''Æon Flux''. The ''World of Warcraft Trading Card Game'' (''WoW TCG'') is an out-of-print collectible card game based on Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG, ''World of Warcraft''. The game was announced by Upper Deck Entertainment on August 18, 2005 and released on October 25, 2006. Players can play against each other one-on-one, or can join others in order to defeat dungeon/raid "bosses" based on those in the MMORPG. ''Bella Sara'' was a children's trading card and online game that combined a world of magical horses with game play. Published by Seattle-based game company Hidden City Entertainment in 2007, ''Bella Sara'' began as a trading card game that expanded into an international product line. Having three set releases each year, all trading cards had images of illustrated horses, characters and magical friends with positive, inspirational messages on them. Each card pack included secret codes that could be redeemed on the website to care for and nurture magical horses online.
