Rebbie Jackson
Maureen Reillette "Rebbie" Jackson-Brown (; born May 29, 1950) is an American singer, actress, and the eldest child of the Jackson family of musicians. She first performed on stage with her siblings during shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in 1974, before subsequently appearing in the television series ''The Jacksons''. Her sister La Toya was born on her sixth birthday. At age 34, Jackson released her debut album '' Centipede'' (1984). The album featured songs written by Smokey Robinson, Prince, and Jackson's younger brother Michael, whose contribution (the title track " Centipede") became Rebbie's most successful single release. Gary, Indiana
Gary is a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States. The city has been historically dominated by major industrial activity and is home to U.S. Steel's Gary Works, the largest steel mill complex in North America. Gary is located along the southern shore of Lake Michigan about east of Chicago Loop, downtown Chicago, Illinois. ''Centipede'' is the debut album by American singer Rebbie Jackson. Released by Columbia Records in the fall of 1984, the album spawned two top-forty '' Billboard'' charting hits, the most famous being the title track. Background Despite having worked with her family on The Jacksons variety TV show and having been a backing singer for the likes of Betty Wright in the late 70's, Jackson was the last Jackson family sibling to release an album at the age of 34, mostly due to wanting to raise her two young daughters, Stacee and Yashi, in a secure family environment, waiting until she felt they were old enough. Eliot Kennedy (born 29 March 1969) is an English songwriter and record producer based in Sheffield. He has worked with artists such as Billie Piper, The Spice Girls, Mary J. Men of Vizion is an American R&B quintet that came to fame in 1996, with the debut album, '' Personal'', which featured the songs, "House Keeper" and " Do Thangz", produced by Teddy Riley and "Lil" Chris Smith. The album was released on October 7, 1986 and spawned two mildly successful singles, "Reaction" and " You Send the Rain Away", a duet with Robin Zander. "Ticket To Love" was going to be released as the second single and received a very limited promo release before being cancelled in favour of " You Send the Rain Away". The album-only track "Tonight I'm Yours", a duet with Isaac Hayes, received substantial airplay but was not commercially released as a single. ''Reaction'' received a limited CD reissue in Japan in the early 1990s. It was reissued on CD with Jackson's previous album ''Centipede'' on May 18, 2010.
