Realidades (album)
''Realidades'' ( Eng.: ''Realities'') is the title of a studio album released by Regional Mexican band Los Tigres del Norte. Realidades (Deluxe Edition) won a Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano). Pre-production started in the spring of 2014. Realidades and Realidades (Deluxe Edition) reached Billboard's Latin charts. The hit single “La Bala” (The Bullet) was a follow-up to the 2011 MTV Unplugged album. Recognition Realidades (Deluxe Edition) won the Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano) at the 58th Grammy Awards. The Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano) is an award presented at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards, to recording artists for releasing albums in the regional Mexican or Tejano genres. Honors in several categories are presented at the ceremony annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to "honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position". Band (music)
A rock band or pop band is a small musical ensemble that performs rock music, pop music, or a related genre. A four-piece band is the most common configuration in rock and pop music. GLAAD Media Award
The GLAAD Media Award is an accolade bestowed by GLAAD to recognize and honor various branches of the media for their outstanding representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives. The 58th Annual Grammy Awards was held on February 15, 2016, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Los Tigres Del Norte
Los Tigres del Norte (English: ''The Tigers of the North'') are a norteño band from San Jose, California. Originally founded in Mocorito, Sinaloa, Mexico, with sales of 60 million albums, the band is one of the most recognized groups in the genre, due to its long history and its successes within the Mexican community in the diaspora. The band is famous for its political corridos, some of which have been censored, even in its own country. The band is the only Mexican group to win 6 Grammy awards and 12 Latin Grammys. In addition, the band has made 40 films alongside the Almada brothers (Mario and Fernando) among other well-known Mexican actors.
