"Real Life" is a song by American rock band Bon Jovi, released in 1999. It is taken from the soundtrack of the film ''EDtv''. Remix A remix of the song is also present on the '' 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong'' boxset. It reached the top 40 on the Radio & Records Airplay chart. At the time Hugh McDonald was an unofficial member of the band and this marked the only time that the bassist featured on a Bon Jovi release's artwork until his promotion to being an official member, when he featured on the artwork for the band's 2016 single " This House Is Not for Sale". Bon Jovi is an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. It consists of singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald (American musician), Hugh McDonald. Randy Edelman (born June 10, 1947) is an American musician, producer, and composer for film and television. He began his career as a member of Broadway's pit orchestras, and later went on to produce solo albums for songs that were picked up by leading music performers including The Carpenters, Barry Manilow, and Dionne Warwick. He is known for his work in comedy films. He has been awarded many prestigious awards along with two nominations for a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, and twelve BMI Awards. Hugh John McDonald (born December 28, 1950) is an American musician who is best known for his session work and for being the current bassist and backup singer of American rock band Bon Jovi, which he joined as an unofficial band member in November 1994, before becoming an official band member in 2016. Before joining Bon Jovi, he was the bass guitarist for the David Bromberg Band, touring extensively worldwide and playing on many Bromberg albums.
