Charles Ready
Charles Ready (December 22, 1802 – June 4, 1878) was an American politician and a member of the United States House of Representatives for Tennessee's 5th congressional district. Biography Ready was born in Readyville in Rutherford County, now called Cannon County, on December 22, 1802. He attended the common schools and graduated from Greeneville College in Tennessee. He studied law, was admitted to the bar in 1825, and commenced practice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was married to Martha Alvoid Strong on May 19, 1825 in Knoxville, Tennessee. John Ready
John Ready ( – 10 July 1845) was a British Army officer, who served as Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island from 1824 to 1831 and also as Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man from 1832 to 1845. Career Ready joined the British Army as an ensign in 1796. He was appointed Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in 1815 and military secretary and then civil secretary to the Governor General of British North America in 1818. In 1824 he was appointed lieutenant governor of Prince Edward Island: there he imported livestock at his own expense, promoted the building of roads and ensured there was a school in every town. Karl Ready
Karl Ready (born 14 August 1972) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a defender. He notably played for Queens Park Rangers over an eleven-year spell that saw numerous seasons playing in the Premier League and saw him awarded the Player of the Season award for the 1997–98 campaign. He then played in the Scottish Premier League for Motherwell before spending his final two seasons playing competitive football for Non-League sides Aldershot Town, Aylesbury United, Crawley Town and Farnborough Town. Rudolph Keith Ready (15 December 1878 – 28 July 1958) was an Australian politician and businessman. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and served as a Senator for Tasmania from 1910 to 1917, including as Government Whip from 1914 to 1917. He is primarily remembered for the controversial circumstances of his resignation. Early life Ready was born on 15 December 1878 in Latrobe, Tasmania. He was the son of Mary (née Mumford) and Samuel Ready, his father working as a saddler. Ryan Ready (born November 7, 1978) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger who played in the National Hockey League with the Philadelphia Flyers. Playing career Ready was drafted 100th overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames. After playing his first seven NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2005–06, Ready signed with the Iserlohn Roosters of the DEL on September 15, 2006. Stephanie Ready (born 1975) is an American broadcaster for NBA on TNT and was formerly a broadcaster for the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Charlotte Hornets.
