McQueen is a residential neighbourhood located in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is named for the Rev. David George McQueen, who served 43 years as minister at Edmonton's First Presbyterian Church (Edmonton), First Presbyterian Church from 1887 to 1930. Immediately to the north east of McQueen, in the neighbourhood of Woodcroft, Edmonton, Woodcroft is Coronation Park. McQueen (band)
McQueen were a rock band from Brighton, England, formed in 2004. They have released one album (''Break The Silence'') on Demolition Records. McQueen has toured all over Europe and played shows in the US and Asia including headlining the Unite Festival in Vietnam in 2007. McQueen have not played any shows in the UK since the Velvet Revolver support tour in 2008. In May 2016, American rock band Pop Evil announced that Hayley Cramer will be their new drummer. ''McQueen'' was a Canadian drama television series which aired on CBC Television from 1969 to 1970. Premise The plot features newspaper columnist McQueen (Ted Follows) whose ''The Actioneer'' feature exposed fraud artists and dubious businesses. He was assisted by Denise (Daphne Gibson) and Natasha (Jan Goldin). The pilot episode, "There's a Car Upside-Down on My Lawn", concerned the disposition of an abandoned vehicle. The episode won two Canadian Film Awards in 1969, for Best Director (Francis Chapman) and Best Actress in a Non-Feature ( Josephine Barrington). Jenny (Margot Kidder) was featured in two episodes as an employee of McQueen's newspaper. In one episode, she helped expose a scam at a talent agency while in the other she sought McQueen's help for a Vietnam draft evader she was dating. McQueen McIntosh (1822 – June 18, 1868) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Education and career Born in 1822, near Darien, Georgia, McIntosh read law. He was a planter in Florida. He entered private practice in Jacksonville, Florida from 1850 to 1586. Federal judicial service McIntosh was nominated by President Franklin Pierce on February 27, 1856, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida vacated by Judge Isaac H. Bronson. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 11, 1856, and received his commission the same day. His service terminated on January 3, 1861, due to his resignation.
