Raúl Bernao
Raúl Bernao (4 November 1941 – 26 December 2007) was an Argentina, Argentine Association football, footballer. He played most of his career for Club Atlético Independiente winning a number of major titles, he also played for the Argentina national football team 15 times. Career Bernao started his career with Independiente in 1961, he was part of the squad that won the 1963 Primera División Argentina, championship. In 1964 Copa Libertadores, 1964, he helped Independiente to become the first Argentine team to win the Copa Libertadores and the club retained the title in 1965 Copa Libertadores, 1965. In 1967, Independiente were the first team to win the Nacional championship, Nacional and in 1970 they won the Metropolitano championship, Metropolitano. Bernao left Independiente to join Colombian team Deportivo Cali in 1971, he played for the club until the end of 1973. Sarandí, Buenos Aires
Sarandí () is a city in the Avellaneda Partido of the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located to the south of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The city has an area of and a population of 60,752 inhabitants (INDEC, 2001); the second most populated locality in the ''partido'' after Avellaneda, with 18.5% of the partido's population. The main economical activity in the area is the production of leather goods. The leather industry, especially the tanning process, is often criticized for its contamination of the Riachuelo River. The city was named after a native bush called ''sarandí'' (''Cephalanthus glabratus''). The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. History This enterprise, according to its founders, was created in January 1994 by three regulars of the Rec.Sport.Soccer (RSS) Usenet newsgroup: Lars Aarhus, Kent Hedlundh, and Karel Stokkermans. It was originally known as the "North European Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation", but the geographical reference was dropped as its membership from other regions grew. The RSSSF has members and contributors from all around the world and has spawned seven spin-off projects to more closely follow the leagues of that project's home country.
