''Razia's Shadow: A Musical'' is an album by American band Forgive Durden, released through Fueled by Ramen on October 28, 2008. It is a musical featuring members of popular bands such as Saves the Day, Panic! at the Disco, Say Anything, The Matches, mewithoutYou, Portugal. The Man, The Hush Sound, An Angle, The Dear Hunter, and Gatsbys American Dream among others. The album was conceived by Thomas Dutton and co-written by his brother Paul Dutton. The album also features Rudy Gajadhar of Gatsbys American Dream on drums. The full album was released for streaming on the band's website on October 24, 2008, and was subsequently leaked via torrents that same day. Forgive Durden
Forgive Durden was an American indie rock band from Seattle, Washington, United States. They got their name from the novel ''Fight Club''. They were signed to Fueled by Ramen. Fueled by Ramen released Forgive Durden's first full-length album, ''Wonderland (Forgive Durden album), Wonderland'', on May 9, 2006. On January 27, 2008, lead singer Thomas Dutton announced on the band's blog that the other three members had decided to leave the band, citing personality conflicts as the primary reason. He also announced that his brother Paul had been helping him write and record a new album, ''Razia's Shadow: A Musical'' with the help of Gatsbys American Dream's Rudy Gajadhar playing drums, and Aaron Weiss from mewithoutYou as the narrator. The Dear Hunter
The Dear Hunter is an American progressive rock band originating in Providence, Rhode Island. It began as a side project of Casey Crescenzo when he was a member of the Receiving End of Sirens, before becoming his main band in 2006. The band's sound features a wide variety of instruments and styles. Most of the band's albums, starting with their 2006 debut album '' Act I: The Lake South, the River North'', are concept albums and a part of a common storyline, planned to conclude with a sixth installment. Christopher Lane Conley (born February 29, 1980) is an American musician who is the lead-singer/rhythm guitarist of the rock band Saves the Day. He was the only remaining original member as well as major artistic contributor throughout their career. In May 2021, Conley was faced with abuse and grooming allegations. In a statement posted on Equal Vision Records' social media accounts, Conley took responsibility for some of his actions named in the allegations. John Baldwin Gourley (born June 12, 1981) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from Alaska. He is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Portugal. The Man, with the hit song " Feel It Still". Gourley was previously the lead singer in post-hardcore band, Anatomy of a Ghost. Gourley is also a visual artist, who often uses the alias The Fantastic The. Life and career Gourley was born in 1981 in Willow, Alaska, to John T. Gourley and Jennifer Van Ingen. Casey Crescenzo (born December 19, 1983) is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist most notable for being the singer for the bands The Dear Hunter and The Receiving End of Sirens. He is also a producer who has worked with many other bands. Career The Receiving End of Sirens (2004–2006) Crescenzo's start as a musician began in high school with a band called Anomaly, then a band named Dillusion. He eventually moved into in the Boston music scene when a musical act, the notably established The Receiving End of Sirens approached him, offering him the opportunity to perform along with them in light of a recent falling out with former vocalist Ben Potrykus.
