Razali Ibrahim
Datuk Seri Razali bin Ibrahim (born 14 October 1970) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Muar for three consecutive terms from March 2004 to his defeat to Syed Saddiq in the general election in May 2018. He is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party in the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Previously, he was the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in the BN administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak from May 2013 to May 2018 for 5 years. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. In Malaysia, all non-hereditary titles can be granted to both men and women. Every title has a form which can be used by the wife of the title holder. This form is not used by the husband of a titled woman; such a woman will bear a title which is the same as a titled man. Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman (born 6 December 1992) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Muar since May 2018. He served as the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He is a founding member of the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) and has served as 1st President of MUDA since the founding in September 2020. He was also a founding member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a former component party of the PH coalition and served as 1st Youth Chief of BERSATU from the founding in September 2016 to his removal from the party in May 2020.
