Raymond K. Wong
Raymond Kin Wong is an American actor and writer. He is the author of the award-winning novel, '' The Pacific Between''. He was also named as one of ''Pittsburgh Magazine''s 25 Most Beautiful People in 2007. Career Raymond K. Wong began his career as an Information Technology Consultant. He later became a Screen Actors Guild actor and has worked with Peter Falk, Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, directors Rob Marshall and Peter Yates in features and TV series such as Oscar-nominated ''Roommates'' and Emmy-winning series '' Sex and the City''. As a writer, he is the author of the novel, '' The Pacific Between'', which won a 2006 IPPY Book Award (Multicultural Adult Fiction). Chinese Americans are Americans of Han Chinese ancestry. Chinese Americans constitute a subgroup of East Asian Americans which also constitute a subgroup of Asian Americans. ''The King and I'' is the fifth musical by the team of Rodgers and Hammerstein. It is based on Margaret Landon's novel '' Anna and the King of Siam'' (1944), which is in turn derived from the memoirs of Anna Leonowens, governess to the children of King Mongkut of Siam in the early 1860s. The musical's plot relates the experiences of Anna, a British schoolteacher who is hired as part of the King's drive to modernize his country. The relationship between the King and Anna is marked by conflict through much of the piece, as well as by a love to which neither can admit. ''The Pirates of Penzance; or, The Slave of Duty'' is a comic opera in two acts, with music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W. S. Gilbert, W. S. Gilbert.
