Club Raya2 Expansión, known simply as Raya2, is a Mexican professional football club based in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Founded in 2021, Raya2 is the official reserve team of C.F. Monterrey and is part of the Liga de Expansión MX, the second professional football division of the Mexican football league system. History Previous teams In 1994 the C.F. Estadio BBVA
The Estadio BBVA, nicknamed "El Gigante de Acero" (Spanish for "The Steel Giant"), formerly known as the Estadio BBVA Bancomer, is a stadium developed by FEMSA and C.F. Monterrey in Guadalupe, Greater Monterrey. The stadium replaced the Estadio Tecnológico as the home of Monterrey, ending 63 years of residency at that stadium. The project was met with controversy, stemming from multiple accusations of the construction as an apparent impediment to wildlife growth on a local scale by deforesting 24.5 hectares of forest neighboring a natural protected area that houses 106 animal species, including 8 endangered or protected species such as the yellow headed parrot. Serie A De México
The Serie A has 33 teams (1 Liga MX Reserve Team, 3 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 29 Serie A Teams) divided into two groups. For the 2022–23 season, it will be a return of two short tournaments consisting of 10 total matches played home & away and the liguilla. The top 2 teams & two 3rd-place teams from each group at the end of each Torneo will play in the Liguilla for a spot to play for promotion to Liga de Expansión MX provided that their stadiums meet the requirements to ascend. Estadio Tecnológico
The Estadio Tecnológico was a multi-purpose stadium located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, located on the campus of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). It hosted association football, football and American football games during its 67-year existence, from 1950 to 2017. Starting 2017, the stadium was demolished. The venue was replaced by the Estadio Borregos, completed in April 2019. The new 10,000 venue stadium is designed to house American Football and Soccer games. Daniel Lajud Martínez ( ar, دانيال لحود مارتينيز; born 22 January 1999), also known as Daniel Kuri). ( ar, دانيل الخوري, link=no), is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Liga de Expansión MX club Atlante and the Lebanon national team. Jesus Aldo de Nigris Guajardo (born 22 July 1983) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a striker, who is the current assistant manager of Liga MX club Monterrey. Alebrijes de Oaxaca Fútbol Club is a Mexican football team based in the city of Oaxaca, state of Oaxaca. They play in the second tier of Mexican football league, Liga de Expansión MX.
