Ray Cooper III
Raynald "Ray" Cooper III (born February 7, 1993) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL), where he is the two-time Welterweight champion. A professional competitor since 2012, he has also competed for King of the Cage. Fight Matrix had him ranked a top 10 Welterweight in the world in May 2022. He is currently ranked #16. Early life Born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii, Cooper got into many fights in the schoolyard, beginning to wrestle at the age of six and trained under the tutelage of his father, Ray Cooper Jr, a professional fighter. In Hawaii, Cooper was a three-time state champion wrestler and two-time Oahu Interscholastic Association champion, winning his last championship at 173 lbs. Pearl City is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in the Ewa District and City & County of Honolulu on the Island of Oahu. Rory MacDonald (fighter)
Rory Joseph MacDonald (born July 22, 1989) is a retired Canadian mixed martial artist who most recently competed in the Welterweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Prior to signing with the PFL, MacDonald competed for Bellator MMA, where he is a former Bellator Welterweight World Champion. Having been a professional competitor since 2005, he is a former UFC top contender as well, and there he obtained an overall UFC record of 9–4, and challenged for the UFC Welterweight Championship at UFC 189 in a bout against then-champion Robbie Lawler. 2019 Professional Fighters League Season
This is a list of events and standings for the Professional Fighters League, a mixed martial arts organization based in the United States, for the 2019 season. Each weight class had 12 fighters, except the women's class which had 8 fighters. Each fighter faced two rivals in the regular season. The top fighters in each weight class (8 in the men's classes, 4 in the women's class) qualified to the playoffs. David Michaud (born November 10, 1988) is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor since 2009, he formerly competed for the Professional Fighters League, Legacy Fighting Alliance, the UFC and Titan FC.
