Ravenhill, Belfast
Pottinger was one of the nine district electoral areas (DEA) in Belfast, Northern Ireland from 1985 to 2014. Located in the east of the city, the district elected six members to Belfast City Council and contained the wards of Ballymacarrett, Bloomfield, Orangefield, Ravenhill, The Mount, and Woodstock. The name ''Pottinger'' is derived from Thomas Pottinger who was the first mayor of Belfast to be elected in the grant of a corporate charter to that town, in 1661. The wards of Ravenhill and Woodstock were part of the Belfast South constituencies for the Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament, while the other four were part of the Belfast East Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies. The district was bounded to the west by the River Lagan and the Ormeau Road, to the north by the Newtownards Road, to the east by Greenville Park and North Road and the Borough of Castlereagh to the south. Ravenhill Stadium (known as the Kingspan Stadium for sponsorship reasons) is a rugby stadium located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is the home of Ulster Rugby. With the opening of a new stand for the 2014 Heineken Cup quarter-final against Saracens F.C., Saracens on 5 April 2014, the capacity of the stadium is now 18,196. The stadium is owned by the Irish Rugby Football Union. History Ravenhill Stadium opened in 1923. It features an ornate arch at the entrance that was erected as a war memorial for those players killed in World War I and World War II. Prior to 1923, both Ulster and Ireland played games at the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society grounds in Belfast. Ravenhill has been the annual venue for the Ulster Schools Cup final since 1924, which is traditionally contested on St Patrick's Day. RAVENHILL is an American rock band. They are originally from southern Illinois relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, but now reside near the Dallas, Texas, area. The band started making music in 2009. Their membership is Joshua Clifton, Brady Clifton, Kalen Orr, & Keith Schaubert with former members Coleman Fitch, Dane Johns, David Curtis, Kyle Hassenfratz, Taylor Chance, and Jonathan Raby. The band released an album, ''Ladies and Gentlemen, I Present To You...'', independently in 2009. Their next release, the EP ''Live on Delmar'', was released independently in 2010.
