''The 100 (TV series), The 100'' (pronounced ''The Hundred'') is an American Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, post-apocalyptic science fiction Drama (film and television), drama developed for The CW by Jason Rothenberg, and is loosely based on the The 100 (novel series), novel series of the same name by Kass Morgan. The series follows a group of survivors who return to Earth, ninety-seven years after a nuclear apocalypse left the planet uninhabitable. Soon, they come across the various settlements of other survivors that survived the disaster, including the Grounders, the Reapers, and the Mountain Men.
