Anantrai Raval
Anantrai Manishankar Raval (1 January 1912 – 18 November 1988) was a Gujarati critic and editor from India. Born and studied in Amreli, he worked briefly with a daily. He taught at several colleges before joining government as a director of language department. He wrote criticism chiefly under the pen name ''Shaunak'' and edited several works of Gujarati literature and litterateurs. Life Raval was born on 1 January 1912 at Amreli in Gujarat. He was a native of Vallabhipur. He completed his primary and secondary education from Amreli. He passed matriculation in 1928. He completed Bachelor of Arts in Gujarati and Sanskrit from Samaldas College, Bhavnagar and was a fellow of same college for two years. He completed Master of Arts with Gujarati and English in 1934 and was the first student in the University of Bombay to pass it with first class. Estela Raval
Palma Nicolina Ravallo, (19 May 1929 – 6 June 2012) better known as Estela Raval, was one of the first Argentine singer of pop latino back to the 1950s. She was accompanied by a band named The 5 Latinos. Raval was the lead in the musical Excitante. In the musical she showed her talented voice, she sang in the theatre show as of the 1st cycle. She was being replaced by Spanish singer and actress Carmen Flores, sister of the late Lola Flores, for the third cycle being that Raval was battling cancer. She later returned to her place as of March. Estela Raval eventually died on 6 June 2012 in Buenos Aires. Harshida Raval was a singer from Gujarat, India. She had worked as a playback singer in Gujarati cinema as well as Sugam Sangeet and devotional music. She died on 24 July 2017 at Ahmedabad. Life Rawal was born in Limdi, Gujarat to Manishankar Vyas. Her talent was first recognised in a programme of Shruti Sanstha when she sang "Keva Re Malela Manna Mel?", which was later used in the Gujarati film ''Kashino Dikro''. Jeet Ashok Raval (born 22 September 1988) is a New Zealand cricketer. Raval is an opening batsman, who plays for New Zealand internationally and Northern Districts domestically. Nalin Chandrakant Raval (17 March 1933 – 5 April 2021) was a Gujarati poet and short story writer from India. Born in Ahmedabad and educated in languages, he taught in colleges. He published five poetry collections along with short stories. He received several awards including Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak. Life Nalin Raval was born on 17 March 1933 at Ahmedabad. He was native of Wadhwan. He completed his primary education from Kalupur School No. 7 and secondary education from New Education High school. He completed his matriculation in 1954.
