Kavita Rahut (née ''Raut'', born 5 May 1985) is an Indian Long-distance track event, long-distance runner from Nashik district, Nashik, Maharashtra. She holds the current List of Indian records in athletics, national record for 10 km road running with a timing of 34:32 as well as the current national record in the half marathon with a timing of 1:12:50. Sachidananda Routray (13 May 1916 – 21 August 2004) was an Indian poet, novelist and short-story writer who wrote in Odia. He received Jnanpith Award, the highest literary award of India, in 1986. He was popularly known as Biplabi Kabi (''revolutionary poet'') Sachi Routray. Life Routray was born in Gurujang, near Khurda on 13 May 1916. He was brought up and educated in Bengal. He married a Telugu princess from the royal family of Golapalli. Routray started writing poems from the age of eleven. He was also involved in freedom struggle while in school. Some of his poems were banned by British Raj for revolutionary content. He died in Cuttack on 21 August 2004. Harish Raut (7 November 1925 – 2002) was an Indian artist who developed a distinctive figurative style. Idealized rural women, going about their daily chores was the main subject of his work. His early work was based on the rural realities of his hometown Bordi and the neighbouring town of Bassein, Maharashtra.
