Raunaq Kapur
Raunaq Kapur (born 6 February 2004) is an Indian-born Hong Kong cricketer. In November 2019, he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. He made his List A debut for Hong Kong, against Bangladesh, in the Emerging Teams Cup on 14 November 2019. Later the same month, he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the Cricket World Cup Challenge League B tournament in Oman. In April 2024, he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the 2024 ACC Men's Premier Cup in Oman. During this tournament, he made his Twenty20 International debut against the Saudi Arabia national cricket team. Prior to his debut for the Hong Kong Cricket Team, he also played for the Hong Kong Under-19 National cricket-team at the Asian Cricket Council's Eastern Region tournament in July 2019, in which he won the award for Best Bowler of the tournament. In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five–for" or "fifer") occurs when a bowler takes five or more wickets in a single innings. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. The Hong Kong national under-19 cricket team represents the Special Administrative Region of China in international under-19 cricket. It has qualified for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup on one occasion, in 2010. The Saudi Arabia national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Saudi Arabia in international cricket. The Team is organized by the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2003 and associate member in 2016.
