Rauf Olaniyan
Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan (born 25 February 1960) is a Nigerian politician, civil engineer, and farmer. He served as the deputy governor of Oyo State from 2019 to 2022 before he was impeached following misconduct and a series of allegations leveled against him. He was elected deputy governor as the running mate of Seyi Makinde in the 2019 Oyo State gubernatorial election. He usually spoke on behalf of the governor on matters arising within the state for national interest. Rauf was born into the family of late Pa Adeleke Olaniyan and Alhaja Sabiatu Olaniyan of Igboho in Oyo State. He is the managing director of WestMidland Construction Company and chairman and chief executive officer of BlueLine Construction Services, Ibadan. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde (born 25 December 1967) is a Nigerian businessman, politician and philanthropist who has served as Governor of Oyo State since 29 May 2019. He is an engineer and a subject matter expert on fluid and gas metering. He is the group managing director of Makon Group Limited; an indigenous oil and gas company in Nigeria. He established his first oil and gas private business called Makon Engineering and Technical Services, (METS) at the age of 29 in the year 1997, after earning years of work experience with international oil and gas companies. The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) was established in 1964. It is charged with the responsibility of policy formulation and implementation on issues relating to youth development in Nigeria. It is the umbrella body and the mouthpiece of the Nigerian Youths. It was established and given legal recognition in 1990. The NYCN has three branches; the National, Zonal and the State chapters.
