Rauchtown, Pennsylvania
Rauchtown is a census-designated place in Crawford Township, Clinton County, and a small portion in Limestone Township, Lycoming County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 census the population was 726. Rauchtown is on Pennsylvania Route 880 on the border between southeastern Clinton County and southwestern Lycoming County, at the western end of the Nippenose Valley, between Bald Eagle Mountain to the north and Nippenose Mountain to the south. Ravensburg State Park is on the southern edge of Rauchtown, in the narrow valley of Rauchtown Creek coming out of Nippenose Mountain. Interstate 80 In Pennsylvania
Interstate 80 (I-80) in the US state of Pennsylvania runs for across the northern part of the state. It is designated as the Keystone Shortway and officially as the Z.H. Confair Memorial Highway. This route was built mainly along a completely new alignment, not paralleling any earlier US Routes, as a shortcut to the tolled Pennsylvania Turnpike to the south and New York State Thruway to the north. Greene Township is a township in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,750 at the 2020 census, up from 1,695 in 2010. Geography Greene Township is located in the southeastern corner of Clinton County, and is bordered to the northeast by Lycoming County, to the east by Union County, and to the south by Centre County. Jersey Shore is a borough in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is on the West Branch Susquehanna River, west by south of Williamsport. Pennsylvania Route 44 (PA 44) is a -long state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route, which is signed north-south, is designated from Interstate 80 (I-80) and PA 42 in Buckhorn northwest to the New York state line near New York State Route 417 (NY 417) in Ceres Township. Ravensburg State Park is a Pennsylvania state park in Crawford Township in Clinton County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It is in a gorge carved by Rauchtown Run through the side of Nippenose Mountain. Ravensburg State Park is of wooded land that is almost entirely surrounded by Tiadaghton State Forest. This state park is on Pennsylvania Route 880, north of Carroll and south-east of Jersey Shore. The nearest city is Williamsport. Pennsylvania Route 880 (PA 880) is a state highway located in Centre, Clinton, and Lycoming Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 192 in Miles Township. The northern terminus is at PA 44 in Limestone Township Though it does not have a direct junction with Interstate 80 (I-80), it underpasses the highway in Carroll and drivers can enter I-80 one mile (1.6 km) east by turning left onto East Valley Road. South of this intersection, PA 880 is known as East Valley Road until Loganton, where it becomes Main Street. South of Loganton it continues as West Valley Road until the Centre County line.
