Rashid Juma Mubarak Al-Farsi ( ar, راشد جمعة مبارك الفارسي; born 27 April 1993), commonly known as Rashid Al-Farsi, is an Omani footballer who plays for Al-Oruba SC. Club career On 5 July 2014, he agreed a one-year contract extension with Al-Oruba SC. Club career statistics International career Rashid was selected for the national team for the first time in 2011. He made his first appearance for Oman against Myanmar in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification. Sur, Oman
Sur ( ar, صُوْر, Ṣūr) is the capital city of Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, and the former capital of Ash Sharqiyah Region in northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. 2010 Sultan Qaboos Cup
The 2010 Sultan Qaboos Cup was the 38th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup ( ar, كأس السلطان قابوس), the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman. This edition of the cup was nicknamed ''"Al-Kass Al-'Arba'een"'' ( ar, الكأس الاربعين), literally meaning "The 40th Cup", due to the country's 40th anniversary of modernity (although the cup was in fact only in its 38th edition). The competition began on 17 September 2010 with the qualification round and concluded on 12 December 2010. Saham SC were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2009. On Sunday 12 December 2010, Al-Oruba SC were crowned the champions of the 2011 Sultan Qaboos Cup when they defeated Fanja SC 5–3 on penalties after the match had ended 1-1 after extra time, hence winning the title for the third time. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification was allocated four assured qualifying berths for the final tournament in South Africa and one place in a play-off. 43 teams were in the running for these spots, while Laos, Brunei and the Philippines did not enter qualification.
