Rashid Farivar
Rashid Farivar (born 15 May 1982 in Iran) is an Iranian-born Swedish engineer and politician of the Sweden Democrats party who was elected to the Riksdag in 2022 general election representing the Västra Götaland County West constituency. Biography Early life and education Farivar was born in Tabriz, Iran in 1982 before moving to the capital Tehran in 1999. He obtained his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2004 before moving to Sweden on his own in 2005 to pursue his higher education. He subsequently completed a Master of Science degree in engineering at Chalmers University of Technology before starting a PhD work at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience - MC2 but left the university before completing his PhD with a licentiate degree of engineering. Charlie Andreas Weimers (born 12 November 1982) is Swedish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Sweden since 2019. He is a member of the Sweden Democrats, part of European Conservatives and Reformists. Career Weimers was chairman of the Swedish Young Christian Democrats (Kristdemokratiska Ungdomsförbundet - KDU) 2008–2011. Markus Wiechel (born 15 April 1988) is a Swedish politician of the Sweden Democrats. He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) of Sweden following the resignation of Lars Isovaara on 29 November 2012. He's currently serving as member for the Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as Deputy for the Committee on European Union Affairs. The Open Door Policy () is the United States diplomatic policy established in the late 19th and early 20th century that called for a system of equal trade and investment and to guarantee the territorial integrity of Qing China.
