Rasheen Ali
Rasheen Ali (born February 16, 2001) is an American football running back for the Marshall Thundering Herd. Early life and high school Ali grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Shaker Heights High School. He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Marshall over an offer from Hampton. College career Ali played in six games during his true freshman season in 2020 where he logged 22 rushing yards on five carries along with 76 kick return yards. During the 2021 season, he became one of the nation's premier running backs and finished with 1,401 yards and 23 touchdowns on 250 carries. By the end of the season, he was named on the Maxwell Football Club's Freshman of the Year Watch List, the Team MVP, an All-Conference USA First Team selection and a FWAA Freshman All-American. Senior Bowl
The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played annually in late January or early February in Mobile, Alabama, which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects of those players who have completed their college eligibility. Produced by the non-profit Mobile Arts & Sports Association, the game is also a charitable fund-raiser, benefiting various local and regional organizations with over US$7.8 million in donations over its history. ''The Herald-Dispatch'' is a daily newspaper that serves Huntington, West Virginia, and neighboring communities in southern Ohio and eastern Kentucky. It is currently owned by HD Media Co. LLC. The Virginia Tech Hokies football team represents Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the sport of American football. The Hokies compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Maxwell Award is presented annually to the college football player judged by a panel of sportscasters, sportswriters, and National Collegiate Athletic Association head coaches and the membership of the Maxwell Football Club to be the best all-around in the United States. Doak Walker Award
Since 1990 the Doak Walker Award honors the top running back in college football in the United States. It is named in honor of Doak Walker, a former running back who played for the SMU Mustangs from 1945 to 1949 and in the National Football League for the Detroit Lions from 1950 to 1955.
