Rapid River is an unincorporated community in Masonville Township, Delta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated on the northern end of the Little Bay de Noc between the mouths of the Tacoosh and Rapid rivers with the mouth of the Whitefish River just to the east. U.S. Highway 2 (US 2) passes through Rapid River and joins with US 41 just west of town; the two then run concurrently from Rapid River south to Escanaba. The Rapid River ZIP code is 49878 and also serves areas in the nearby townships in Delta County of Baldwin, Bay de Noc, Brampton, Ensign, Garden, Maple Ridge, Masonville, and Nahma. It also serves a small area in Mathias Township in Alger County The community was first named Rapid Siding as a stop on the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. is a 1997 arcade game released by Namco. The game is about white water rafting, and players must race against the clock, passing through checkpoints to extend the time they have to complete the level. The game is notable for its unique player controls that aim to replicate oars. It was intended to appeal to dating couples. The game is one of only two known games to run on Namco Gorgon hardware, an early revision of the Namco System 23 hardware. A virtual reality remake was released by Bandai Namco Amusement in 2018 for its VR Zone arcade centers. The Rapides River (french: Rivière des Rapides) is a river in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. It empties into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Location The Rapides River flows from north to south for , falling from an altitude of to sea level. The river mouth forms a small bay wide and long that opens into the Sept Îles Bay past Père-Conan island. The mouth of the Rapides River is in the municipality of Sept-Îles in the Sept-Rivières Regional County Municipality. It enters Sept-Îles bay to the west of the community of Sept-Îles. The Rapid River is a short river in central Saskatchewan, Canada, about east of the community of Stanley Mission. It is part of the Churchill River drainage basin. The river is about long and flows north from Iskwatikan Lake, which lies downstream from Lac la Ronge, over the Nistowiak Falls, one of the tallest in Saskatchewan, and the Fisher Rapids, to Nistowiak Lake on the Churchill River, which flows to Hudson Bay. The entire river is within Lac La Ronge Provincial Park.
