Raphaël Colantonio
Raphaël Colantonio (born 1971) is a French video game designer, and was the founder and for 18 years president of Arkane Studios. He has served as creative director on several of Arkane's titles, including co-creator with Harvey Smith (game designer), Harvey Smith for the ''Dishonored'' series. Career When Colantonio was about 18 years old, at the verge of having to perform conscription, mandatory military service that France had at the time, he participated in a contest held by Electronic Arts (EA) on knowledge about the Ultima (series), ''Ultima'' series, which he had been a fan of. He was unaware that the contest was meant for EA to find qualified applicants for a new studio they were setting up in France, and through the contest, Colantonio was hired into EA, helping with establishing their customer support services in France. Arx Fatalis
''Arx Fatalis'' is an action role-playing video game developed by Arkane Studios and released for Microsoft Windows in 2002 and Xbox in 2003. The game is played from a first-person perspective and is set on a world whose sun has failed, forcing the above-ground creatures to take refuge in caverns. The game's mechanics include the use of mouse gestures to cast spells. ''Arx Fatalis'' received mostly positive reviews from critics but was not commercially successful. Devolver Digital, Inc. is an American video game publisher based in Austin, Texas, specializing in the publishing of indie games. The Game Awards 2019
The Game Awards 2019 was an award show that honored the best video games of 2019. The event was produced and hosted by Geoff Keighley, creator and producer of The Game Awards, and was held to an invited audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 12, 2019. The preshow ceremony was hosted by Sydnee Goodman. The event was live streamed across more than 50 digital platforms; it was the first to broadcast live in India and was simulcast in 53 movie theaters across the United States.
