''Rape of Love'' (also known as L'amour violé) is a 1978 French and Belgian drama film directed and produced by Yannick Bellon. This film has been music composed by Aram Sedefian. The film starring Nathalie Nell, Alain Fourès, Michèle Simonnet, Pierre Arditi and Daniel Auteuil in the lead roles. Yannick Bellon
Marie-Annick Bellon, usually known as Yannick Bellon, (6 April 1924 – 2 June 2019), was a French film director, editor and screenwriter. Initially known for her documentary work, in 1972 she made her first feature film, ''Quelque part quelqu’un'' (''Somewhere, Someone''), presenting contemporary views of Paris. She went on to make several more feature films, including '' L'amour violé'' (''Rape of Love'') with its feminist insights in 1978 and ''Les Enfants du désordre'' in 1989, evoking the difficulties a drug addict experiences when trying to return to normal life. Marin Karmitz (born 7 October 1938) is a Romanian-French businessman whose career has spanned the French film industry, including director, producer, film distributor, and operator of a chain of cinemas. Karmitz attended film school at IDHEC (renamed La Fémis) and worked as a director of photography after graduating. Karmitz founded MK2, a production company and movie theater chain, which has specialized in creating, distributing, and screening independent or "auteurist" cinema, including short films.
