Raoul Petretta (born 24 March 1997) is a professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. Born in Germany, he has represented Italy at youth level. Early life Petretta began playing football with SC Rheinfelden 03. After three years, he joined Swiss club FC Basel at age six. He spent the remainder of his youth career with Basel, progressing from the U7 level to the U21 level, before joining the first team. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs.
