Branimir Rančić ( sr-Cyrl, Бранимир Ранчић; born 1953) is a medical doctor and politician in Serbia. He has served in the National Assembly of Serbia since 2015 as a member of the Serbian Progressive Party. Early life and career Rančić is a doctor of neuropsychiatry working in Gadžin Han. He lives in Niš. Political career Rančić received the 172nd position on the Progressive Party's '' Aleksandar Vučić — Future We Believe In'' electoral list for the 2014 Serbian parliamentary election. The list won a landslide victory with 158 out of 250 mandates; Rančić was not initially re-elected but received a mandate on January 27, 2015, as a replacement for Vladeta Kostić, who had resigned. Damir Rančić (born 23 June 1983) is a Croatian basketball coach and former professional player who currently coaches Ribola Kaštela of the Prva liga. Pro career Rančić was born in Split and began his professional career in 2000 with Solin. He then moved to Split in 2001. In 2005, he moved to Cibona Zagreb. He then joined Panellinios, before going to Kyiv. He then returned to Panellinios before moving to Zadar. In 2010, he joined Obradoiro CAB, before returning once again to Panellinios, but left the team soon after for personal reasons. After retiring as player due to chronicle back problems, in October 2018 he took up coaching Ribola Kaštela, a club he formerly played for. Rančić Family House, Grocka
The Rančić Family House ( sr, Ранчићева кућа) is located in Grocka, at 9 Majevička Street, in the immediate vicinity of the ''Čaršija'' (historical main street), on an elevated, spacious plot, set free in relation with the street regulation. The house was built at the beginning of the 19th century as a two-part Kosovo-style ground-floor house. The building is a half-timbered construction filled built with wattle and daub, and covered with four-sided ceramides (a type of roof tile) roof with large roof drains – eaves. Along the entire front facade, there was a very deep architraved porch leveled with the terrain. There was a special door leading from the porch into the "house," that is, the room, while the internal communication between the "house" and the room was left out.
