Iver C. Ranum High School was a public secondary school operated by Adams County School District 50 near Westminster, Colorado, United States, from 1961 to 2010. The high school was located in the Sherrelwood neighborhood in Adams County. It was named in honor of Iver Ranum, Superintendent of Adams County School District 50 from 1950 to 1975. The last class of Ranum High School graduated on May 8, 2010. The high school has been replaced by the new Westminster High School. The building that housed Iver C. Ranum High School currently houses Iver C. Ranum Middle School. Chad Ashton (born October 26, 1967 in Denver, Colorado) is an American former soccer midfielder who spent one season in Major League Soccer, four in the American Professional Soccer League, six in the National Professional Soccer League and one in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He coached for ten years at the collegiate level and as assistant coach of D.C. United. Youth Ashton grew up in Colorado, earning 1986 Colorado high school player of the year recognition (Iver C. Ranum High School). He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he played on the men's soccer team from 1986 to 1989. Charles Pelkey
Charles Pelkey (born May 30, 1958) is an American attorney, politician, and former Wyoming state legislator. A member of the Democratic Party, Pelkey represented the 45th district from 2015 to 2021. Early life and family Pelkey was born in Göppingen, Germany. His mother, Carla (née Ticak), was a post-war refugee from Yugoslavia. His father, Charles F. Pelkey Sr. was a Master Sergeant in the 503rd Engineer Light Equipment Company of the U.S. Army.
