Ransom Ashley
Ransom Ashley (born 1992) is an American photographer and actor. His photography is noted for its themes relating to identity and coming of age in Louisiana. Early life and education Ransom Ashley was born and raised in Shreveport, LA, Ransom attended C. E. Byrd High School and Calvary Baptist Academy. After high school, Ashley went on to attend Parsons The New School for Design. He also attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport and is a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society of Psychology. Career Photography Ashley has shown work in several international exhibitions. He has been featured in exhibitions at the New Britain Museum of American Art, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and Masur Museum of Art, among others. In 2013, Whitney Museum of Art curator, Elisabeth Sussman, chose his work for a juried exhibition in New York City. Shreveport ( ) is a city in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is the third most populous city in Louisiana after New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Baton Rouge, respectively. Wellborn Jack, Sr. (November 27, 1907 – June 1, 1991), was an attorney from Shreveport, Louisiana, who was a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from Caddo Parish serving from 1940 to 1964. He finished in sixth place for five at-large seats in the general election held on March 3, 1964. Early life Jack is descended within the United States from an Irishman, Patrick Jack, who operated a tavern in Charlotte, North Carolina, prior to the American Revolution. Jack's father, George Whitfield Jack, Sr., a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana and a graduate of Tulane University Law School, was an educator-turned-lawyer who served in Shreveport from 1917 until his death in 1924 as a judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Summer Hoyland is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Jordy Lucas. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 20 May 2002. The character was originally played by Marisa Siketa from her arrival to her departure in 2005 and her subsequent returns in 2006 and 2007.
