Ranjana Srivastava
Ranjana Srivastava is an oncologist, Fulbright scholar and author from Melbourne. She is a regular columnist for ''The Guardian'' newspaper, where she writes about the intersection between medicine and humanity, and a frequent essayist for the ''New England Journal of Medicine''. She was a finalist for the Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2018. She has also written many non-fiction books related to health and medicine, has appeared frequently on TV and radio, and publicly speaks at events, where she addresses various topics and matters. Sir Edmund Hillary
Sir Edmund Percival Hillary (20 July 1919 – 11 January 2008) was a New Zealand mountaineer, explorer, and philanthropist. On 29 May 1953, Hillary and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest. They were part of the ninth British expedition to Everest, led by John Hunt. The Wheeler Centre, originally Centre of Books, Writing and Ideas, is a literary and publishing centre founded as part of Melbourne's bid to be a Unesco Creative City of Literature, which designation it earned in 2008.
