Range Line Road
{{unreferenced, date=August 2015 Range Line Road is the main commercial thoroughfare for Joplin, Missouri. The southern portion of Range Line is where most of Joplin's hotels are located, this is known as the hotel district. The hotel district is also home to many national chain restaurants, as well as a few retail stores. North of 32nd street you run into the main commercial district of Joplin, also known as the Range Line retail district. Along the retail district you can find many national chain stores as well as local merchants. On the northern end of Range Line is Northpark Mall, the regions largest shopping mall. Many national chain stores are in Northpark Mall, as well as the area surrounding the mall. As Range Line runs north of the mall it eventually runs into Webb City, Missouri and becomes Madison Avenue. Joplin is a city in Jasper County, Missouri, Jasper and Newton County, Missouri, Newton counties in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Missouri. The bulk of the city is in Jasper County, while the southern portion is in Newton County. Joplin is the largest city located within both Jasper and Newton Counties - even though it is not the county seat of either county (Carthage, Missouri, Carthage is the seat of Jasper County while Neosho, Missouri, Neosho is the seat of Newton County). Northpark Mall (Missouri)
Northpark Mall is a super regional mall located in Joplin, Missouri. The mall opened in 1972 with 600,000 square feet, and featured 60 stores, restaurants, and other services. Today, the Northpark mall is 1,080,000 square feet, and features more than 100 inline tenants including a food court. Northpark Mall is the largest mall in the Joplin region and serves a trade area of nearly 500,000 people. Freeman hospital added a soft play area in the Macy's women's court in the summer of 2014. The mall was also the temporary home of the 11th and 12th grades of Joplin High School until August 2014, when the new high school was completed. Northpark Mall is managed by CBL & Associates Properties. The anchor stores are Vintage Stock, TJ Maxx, H&M, JCPenney, and Dunham's Sports. Webb City, Missouri
Webb City is a city in Jasper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 13,031 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. Webb City also has a police department, a fire department, and animal control services. History Webb City (Webbville) was platted by John C. Webb in September 1875 and incorporated in December 1876, with a population of 700. The city was located on a portion of Webb's 200-acre farm, which he entered in February 1857. There, in 1873, Webb discovered lead while plowing. With the assistance of W.A. Daugherty, he sank the first pump-shaft in 1874. Webb then leased his land to Daugherty and G.P. Ashcraft. In 1876, the Center Creek Mining Company leased the land and began operations.
