Randy Wynne
Randall Garrett Wynne (born March 9, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2023. Career Wynne played college baseball for Grossmont College and Missouri Baptist University. He was not selected in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers Wynne made his professional debut in 2016 with the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers of the United Shore Professional Baseball League, an independent baseball league. In 17 games (10 starts), he logged a 5–4 record and 3.08 ERA with 55 strikeouts across innings of work. The following year, Wynne made 16 appearances (15 starts) and registered an 8–4 record and 3.30 ERA with 90 strikeouts in innings pitched. Louisville Bats
The Louisville Bats are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. They are located in Louisville, Kentucky, and are named in dual reference to the bat, winged mammal and baseball bats, such as those manufactured locally under the Louisville Slugger brand. The Evansville Otters are a professional baseball team based in Evansville, Indiana. They compete in the West Division of the independent Frontier League. Since their establishment in 1995, the Otters have played at historic Bosse Field, which originally opened in 1915. Jacob Ryne Wong (born September 3, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds. Amateur career Wong attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. In 2015, his senior year, he pitched to a 2.86 earned run average (ERA). Undrafted in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled at Grand Canyon University where he played college baseball. In 2016, Wong's freshman season at Grand Canyon, he appeared in 18 games (making six starts) in which he went 2–3 with a 4.28 ERA. That summer, he played in the West Coast League for the Corvallis Knights. Designated for assignment (DFA) is a contractual term used in Major League Baseball (MLB). A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's 40-man roster, after which the team must within seven days, return the player to the 40-man roster, place the player on waivers, trade the player, release the player, or outright the player from the 40-man roster into Minor League Baseball. In baseball, a save (abbreviated SV or S) is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain prescribed circumstances. Most commonly a pitcher earns a save by entering in the ninth inning of a game in which his team is winning by three or fewer runs and finishing the game by pitching one inning without losing the lead. The number of saves or percentage of save opportunities successfully converted are oft-cited statistics of relief pitchers, particularly those in the closer role. The Chattanooga Lookouts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League and the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The Dayton Dragons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
