Randy Hembrey
Randy Hembrey (born June 26, 1965) is the Director of Road Racing for the United States Auto Club in the newly formed Road Racing division of the iconic sanctioning body. Hembrey served as the Race Director for the SRO Motorsports Group and directed the GT World Challenge America for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Hembrey, who was born in Cary, Illinois, previously served as the Series Director for the International Motor Sports Association, and also served as a Race Director for the IndyCar Road to Indy ladder series during their growth years. From running USF2000 only through their additional ownership of Pro Mazda and Indy Lights, Hembrey has worked in the industry since 1979 and founded Comp8 Motorsports, a professional motorsport service enterprise in 2003. Cary, Illinois
Cary is a village located in Algonquin Township, McHenry County, Illinois, and Cuba Township, Lake County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 17,826. Founding In 1841, William Dennison Cary purchased for $1.25 an acre at the location of the current town and built a farm. In 1856, Cary included a train station for the Illinois & Wisconsin Railway which connected Cary to Chicago and Janesville. The site was approved and a post office was added with the designation "Cary Station." The community around Cary Station was incorporated in 1893 as Cary, Illinois. The town soon became a winter resort for skiing. Early farmers saw this new railway as an opportunity. Mazda MX-5 Cup is the professional Spec Miata series of Mazda Motorsports, promoted by Andersen Promotions. The Canadian Grand Prix (french: Grand Prix du Canada) is an annual motor racing event held since 1961. It has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1967.
