Randy Glover
Randy Glover (born December 31, 1941) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the 1960s. Glover was born in Sanford, North Carolina. He attended the University of Tennessee. He turned professional and joined the PGA Tour in 1962. Glover played on the PGA Tour between 1962 and 1968, winning once, the 1967 Azalea Open Invitational. He also won the 1965 Utah Open, eight South Carolina Opens and two Carolinas Opens. His best finish in a Men's major golf championships, major is T-19 at the 1976 U.S. Open (golf), U.S. Open. As a senior, Glover won the 1992 Carolina Senior Match Play Championship and the opening event of the 1997 Senior Series at Champions Club in Alpharetta, Georgia. Glover lives in Clinton, South Carolina, where he works as the head professional at Musgrove Mill Golf Club. Sanford is a city in Lee County, North Carolina, Lee County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 30,261 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Lee County. History Sanford was named for C.O. Sanford, a railroad civil engineer instrumental in the building of the rail lines through the area that formed the foundation of what became the city of Sanford. Joe Campbell (golfer)
} Joe E. Campbell (born November 5, 1935) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the late 1950s and 1960s. Campbell was born in Anderson, Indiana, where he attended Anderson High School – leading the Indians to IHSAA state titles in 1952 and 1953; winning the individual championships in both years. He attended Purdue University, where he was a member of the Purdue Boilermakers men's golf, golf team as well as a co-captain of the basketball team. He won the 1955 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships, NCAA Championship as Purdue finished 2nd in the team standings, he was also the 1956 and 1957 Big Ten Conference Champion and led Purdue to the 1955 and 1956 Big Ten Team Championships. PGA Cup
The PGA Cup is a men's golf competition for club professionals played between a Great Britain and Ireland team and a United States team. The winning team is presented with the Llandudno Trophy. The competition is run by the British PGA and the PGA of America. It was first played in 1973 and was an annual event until 1984, after which it became biennial. The 2022 event was held at the Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey, England, the second time that the course had been chosen to host the event.
